Overview
A POS (Point of Sale) system designed to enhance store sales efficiency, manage stock movements (in/out), and generate branch-specific reports for a specified period. The system replaces conventional book records with a digital web application.
Challenge
Managing stock synchronization and real-time monitoring across multiple branches while transitioning from a conventional book-record system to a digital solution.
Solution
Developed a scalable POS system using MoleculerJS, TypeScript, and TypeORM with a MySQL database. The frontend was built with ReactJS and ReactAdmin for an intuitive user interface. Real-time stock monitoring and synchronization were implemented to ensure smooth operations across multiple branches.
Results
The POS system successfully improved sales efficiency, streamlined stock management, and provided accurate real-time branch-specific reports, reducing manual record-keeping errors.
